Industrial Grade Vertical Air Conditioner
VACX Wall Mounted Air Conditioners combine maximum indoor comfort with minimal cost. These attractive units are especially desirable where installation space is limited. All models have a mounting flange as an integral part of the housing for easy installation against the outside wall of the building.

The VACX Series features weather resistant enclosures of 20 ga galvanized steel, with an attractive, beige textured enamel finish. Models are offered with standard cooling and as heat pumps. Explosion proof models feature non sparking, continuously welded aluminum blower housings with a chromate conversion coating for corrosion protection. An additional, optional corrosion protection package includes SaveCoil 101** baked phenoxy coil coatings and a three step epoxy finish for all other metal surfaces. An accessory PBX 10** Pressurization Blower should be used if building pressurization per NFPA 496 is also required.

All models are available for standard service without the explosion proof modifications. Other options and accessories include thermostats, humidistats, and external steam heat coils. SaveCoil 101 baked phenoxy coil coatings, and water-cooled condensers.

APPLICATIONS

These popular units are recommended for light duty industrial or commercial applications. Attractively priced, they represent an excellent value for many cooling requirements. Explosion proof models comply with National Electric Code (NEC) Class I, Groups B, C and D, Division 2. When furnished with the optional corrosion protection package, equipment life in offshore and other corrosive environments is significantly extended. For use at high ambient temperatures, in very corrosive environments or in hazardous locations classified under Division 1, the Severe Duty VA 40 Series of Vertical Air Conditioners should be specified.**
